In Lori Gottlieb’s new book, “Marry Him: The Case for Settling for Mr. Good Enough”, Lori identifies the 7 Mistakes Single Women Make. Hmm…if you often find yourself dry like the Sahara Desert, it is finally time to find out WHY?!

Lori explains:

There’s a big difference between compromising and settling. I don’t want the takeaway to be, pick the next guy off of Match.com and marry him. I’m saying, you don’t have to do anything differently if you don’t want. But if you feel like it hasn’t been working and you’re wondering why you haven’t met Mr. Right yet, think about looking for the qualities that are important. You can find someone you’ll be really happy with and fall totally in love with. These guys are all around you but you’re not giving them a chance. You could be passing up tons of Mr. Rights. And you’re going out with all the Mr. Wrongs. It’s less about what you wear or do on a date than it is about having healthier standards. You can still have the fairy tale, but it will look different from what the media portrays as the fairy tale.…The same unrealistic expectations we have about dating, we have about marriage, too. Married people have said that this book makes them appreciate their husbands more.

I personally would prefer a ninja to call me like the good ol’ days! That textin shit is cute sometimes, but it allows a man to communicate with you while in the presence of another woman! It also can be very impersonal & incriminating…LOL! I swear a Man invented this bullshit! What are your thoughts???

Sexonthebeachmag.com-That’s what relationships are today.  Flirting isn’t only being done in person anymore…you have to step up your game and get creative on the touch pad of your cellie.  You have to make the person feel as if you were sitting right beside them.  Also, dating via texting can be rather annoying when your messages go ignored!

The innovative minds over at YourTango pose the issue of how to “win” with flirty  texts.  They expound on the fact that being forced to rely on language play can be sexy and can invoke smarts.  Flirtexting is supposed to be easier and less imposing with people being so on the go these days… The downside is that texting can allow people to be cowards in the dating arena .

I came across this post by Diva on Shine from Yahoo and found it very interesting in regards to McNair & Gatti’s recent deaths. I would love to hear the Men’s take on this subject…BE HONEST!!!

On the radio this morning, a topic came up on whether a man who cheats on his wife really love them? Both sides had valid points.  Guys were saying sex outside the marriage is simply a physical thing, a release so to speak, nothing intimate about it, no emotional connection involved, as long as you hide it well, you should be okay.

Model Racha Fajjari writes-I want to talk about the definition of a gold digger… I’ve heard many men using the “ah she was a gold digger” as an excuse of why she left and i find it quite funny because what they are trying to say without wanting to say it is “i tried to get her attention with my money, i bought her love with diamonds and without my money i ain’t nothin but a loser”.
