Lil Wayne spent some last moments of freedom with friends last night at Dolce Ultralounge in Miami. B.G. even decided to join his old friends.
The Cash Money/ Young Money family is coping with the reality of having its leader, Lil Wayne, in jail for the next eight to 12 months, as part of his plea bargain stemming from his
July 2007 arrest on gun-possession charges. As part of the deal, Wayne is expected to serve a maximum of 12 months, and with good behavior could serve as little as eight. After he officially enters his plea on Tuesday, the rapper is expected to turn himself in immediately to begin his sentence.

I am soooo excited about Sade’s comeback…LOVE HER!!!
Sade will be performing on the following upcoming television programs:
2/09 – Today Show, 106 & Park on BET, The Late Show with David Letterman
2/10 – The View
2/15 – The Ellen DeGeneres Show
2/16 – Jimmy Kimmel Live
2/20 – The Wanda Sykes Show
WHEN a man from a radio station asked Sade what she had been doing in the 10 years between albums, she told him, “I’ve been in a cave, and I just rolled the boulder out of it.”
She chuckled as she recounted the exchange, with her feet tucked up on the couch at her Georgian house in the north London neighborhood of Islington.
A January rain pelted the trees outside the window of the second-story drawing room, atop a graciously curving staircase. Sade, a slender figure in black pants and a black V-neck sweater, made things cozy, feeding kindling to a crackling fire in the hearth. An interview about her new album, “Soldier of Love” (Epic) — only her sixth studio album dating back to her 1984 debut, and due for release on Tuesday — stretched into a four-hour conversation.
Dammit Hank!!!
Dang Jill…give the people what they want!
Songstress, Jill Scott has been slapped with a lawsuit from her former record label, Hidden Beach after she suddenly part ways with the company.
Hidden Beach Records filed this lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court on February 3. In court documents, there are claims Scott was obligated to a six album contract, however she has only successfully delivered three album.
“Hidden Beach is shocked by her decision not only because Scott has apparently chosen to leave the Hidden Beach family,” the complaint reads, “but also because Scott is contractually required to deliver three more albums to Hidden Beach.” [Billboard]
I guess…who’s going to watch this??? I know I won’t!
According to Sister2Sister-Ray J won’t be off of VH1 for long as he’s set to star in a show that focuses on his family.
The Kardashians better watch out because VH1 has announced that the Norwoods are getting a reality series of their own! “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business“ will follow Brandy and Ray J as momager Sonja Norwood passes the reigns of the family’s company, Rn’B Productions, to them. VH1 has ordered 11 hour-long episodes of the show.
